iScan/iVue optical coherence tomography (OCT) retinal imaging is a quick, non-invasive scan that allows our doctors to see beneath the surface of your retina. This unique technology can help our doctors detect vision-threatening diseases in their early stages, when they are most treatable, such as diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and glaucoma. Traditional eye exams and retinal photography do not provide this level of detail.
As part of your pre-testing, our technician will perform the retinal imaging which your doctor will review with you during your examination.
